Description
Countess Farmhouse and the adjoining barn are 18th-century structures with later alterations. They are built of coursed, squared rubble and feature quoins. The roof is graduated slate with stone chimneys. The original house, located in the center, has a symmetrical two-storey, three-bay front. It includes a central plank door flanked by a wide sash window with glazing bars on either side, and two additional sash windows above. The house has been extended into a former byre to the north, which has a single sash window on the left and a part-blocked door on the right. The barn to the south, which shares the same roof, features a wagon door with a depressed arch on the left and a smaller door on the right.
