Description

This is a late 18th-century house with an attached cottage and converted outbuildings, now used as a memorial hall. The house is constructed of pebble-dashed rubble with a graduated slate roof. The cottage section has a slightly lower ridge and a corniced stone chimney. The main house has brick chimneys. The building is two storeys high and has eight bays in total. The front of the house features a part-glazed door alongside a 20-pane window to the left. To the right are a 2-light window and a single-light window, both with 12 panes. There are three 20-pane windows on the first floor. The cottage has a part-glazed door with single sash windows on each floor to the left. The converted outbuilding has two doors and a single sash window on the first floor. All openings are framed by stone surrounds.
