Description

Churchstile is a farmhouse that has been converted into a private house, dating from the early 18th century. It features roughcast walls beneath a graduated greenslate roof, which is complemented by stone chimney stacks. The building stands two storeys high and has two bays. A gabled stone porch with a greenslate roof and a plank side door adds to its character. The windows are 2-light flat stone-mullioned types. The adjoining barn is not of interest.
