Description

The boundary stone located southwest of Calthwaite House is a roadside parish boundary marker from the early 19th century. It is made of red sandstone and has a square shape with a pyramidal cap, set at an angle. The stone is inscribed on two faces with the names "CALTHWAITE" and "PLUMPTON."
