Description
The building is an implement store and workshop located north-west of Home Farmhouse, dated 1835 and inscribed with the initials H. H. (Henry Howard). It is constructed from mixed sandstone rubble with flush quoins and features a graduated greenslate roof, which has a square chimney stack on the left and a candlestick chimney stack on the right. The building has two storeys and two bays, with a single-bay extension on the lower right. The entrance consists of central double plank doors set within a segmental arch. The windows are fixed casements, with those on the ground floor boarded up, all framed in raised stone surrounds. This structure is part of a planned farm associated with Greystoke Castle and is listed for its group value with Home Farmhouse.
