Description
Abbot Hall Lodge is a lodge building located in Grange-over-Sands, dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is not depicted on the first edition Six Inch Ordnance Survey map, which was surveyed in the late 1840s. The lodge is constructed of roughcast with a hipped slate roof and is a single-storey structure.
The west facade features one window to the left and two windows to the right of a gabled porch. The windows are of two lights with mullions, framed by narrow painted stone surrounds and projecting sills. They contain sashes with Gothick glazing. The porch has a doorway with a segmental head and 20th-century glazed doors. At the left end of the ridge, there is a chimney with two limestone shafts that are square in plan.
