Description
The garden wall with bee boles, located south of South View, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed red sandstone and stands on a square plinth. The high wall is adjacent to the left side of the house and features a right plank door set in a stone surround. There are three central recesses, also in painted stone surrounds, designed for bee skeps. The wall steps down on the west side, becoming lower and turning to form the south wall, all topped with flat stone coping.
