Description

No. 34 Scotch Street is a house with storage space above, dating from the early 19th century and featuring later alterations. It is constructed of calciferous sandstone ashlar and has an eaves cornice. The slate roof is not visible from the street, and there is a 19th-century brick chimney stack at one end. The building has three storeys and two bays. The ground-floor shop windows were refurbished in 1990 and are of 20th-century design. Above, there are sash windows with glazing bars set in stone surrounds. The interior was not inspected, and the building was unoccupied at the time of the survey.
