Description

Brook Villa is a house built in 1845, originally serving as the schoolmaster's residence for Great Corby School. It features dressed red sandstone walls, a slate roof, and stone chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. A projecting stone porch with a hipped slate roof leads to a Tudor arched entrance, which has a hood-mould and an arms tablet above it. The sash windows, which do not have glazing bars, are set within chamfered mullioned openings that also have hood-moulds. The upper windows are gabled dormers. This property is included for group value with the nearby school.
