Description

The Churchyard Cross, located south of the Church of St Mary, dates from the 10th or 11th century and is made of calciferous sandstone. The shaft features two broad raised bands adorned with carved decorations of dragons and interlace patterns, and it is topped by a carved wheel-head cross. The details of the design have weathered significantly over time.
