Description
Nos. 3 and 4 Greenmarket are two houses that have been converted into shops. They date from the mid or late 18th century and have undergone some later alterations. The exterior features incised stucco walls and a 20th-century tile roof, which retains the original ridge and end chimney stacks. The buildings are three storeys high, with two bays each, and were constructed as a single unit. The ground floor has 20th-century shop fronts beneath sign boards that include roller blinds. Above these, there are sash windows framed in painted stone architraves. The buildings also display scrolled wrought-iron gutter brackets. The interiors have been altered on the ground floor.
