Description
West House and barns adjoining is an early 18th-century farmhouse with attached barns. The farmhouse is of painted incised stucco, with a graduated greenslate roof and rendered chimney stacks. The barns are constructed of limestone rubble, also with a graduated greenslate roof. The farmhouse is two storeys high, with three bays. Attached to the right are lower barns. The farmhouse has 20th-century sash windows with glazing bars, all set in painted stone surrounds, and a 20th-century door. The barn has irregular pent roof extensions on either side of large double plank doors. A further extension has plank doors and slit vents. The property is listed for group value with Dalton House adjoining.
