Description
Nos 107 and 109 High Street, along with No 17 Kirkby Street, are early 19th-century buildings with a pebble dashed exterior. No 107 features a later dormer and has one window on each floor without glazing bars, while No 109 has one window at the eaves. Both properties share a joint pedimented plain doorway, with doors consisting of six fielded panels and rectangular fanlights, the fanlight for No 107 retaining its glazing bars. There are four steps leading up to the entrance, and basement openings are present. The elevation facing Kirkby Street includes No 17, which has two windows on both storeys. This elevation features a well-designed doorway with an open pediment, modillion cornice, paterae, and pilasters. Above the door, which also has six fielded panels, is a round-headed opening with Gothick glazing in the fanlight. The building has a coped gable end with a kneeler.
