Description

Nos 81 to 83 on Lowther Street are an early 19th-century block of three houses, finished in stucco. Number 81 is two storeys high and features a central doorway with Doric pilasters and an entablature, along with four sash windows on the ground floor and five above. Number 82 is three storeys tall, has in and out quoins, a central doorway with three quarter Doric columns and a raking pediment, and four sash windows on the ground floor and five above. Number 83 is two storeys high, has a doorway similar to that of number 82, and features three windows on the ground floor and four above. All three houses have a moulded plinth and a moulded eaves cornice. Together with Nos 78 to 83 and No 1, they form a group.
