Description
Croft Foot Farmhouse and the adjoining barn date back to 1705, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The building features painted roughcast walls and is topped with a graduated greenslate roof, which includes cement rendered chimney stacks. It stands two storeys high and consists of three bays, with a long barn on the right side that shares a common roof. The entrance has a top-glazed six-panel door set in a painted stone surround. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set in enlarged painted stone surrounds on the ground floor, while the upper windows retain their original chamfered surrounds. The barn features large double plank doors that project outward and a right-side casement window in plain reveals. The left extension, now known as Sycamore House, is not of interest.
