Description
The garden balustrade at the rear of Rosehill is a decorative feature, likely dating from the early to mid-19th century, with some parts of the sculpture possibly being later replacements or additions. Made of stone and approximately 3 feet high, it consists of three sections of turned balusters, which are set between four square piers. Each pier supports a piece of decorative sculpture, including a fluted urn with a cover and swags, along with three groups of putti. This balustrade is included for its group value.
