Description

The Cottage and adjoining former stable is a farmhouse that has been converted into a private house. It likely dates from the 18th century and has undergone extensive alterations in the mid-20th century. The building features painted roughcast walls resting on a chamfered roughcast plinth, with a Welsh slate roof and a rebuilt brick chimney stack from the 20th century. It is two storeys high with three bays, and there is a single-bay stable on the lower right. The right door and casement windows are entirely from the 20th century and are set in 20th-century openings; the stable also has inserted 20th-century casement windows. The rear outshut has been treated in a similar manner. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
