Description
High Trees East Farmhouse and the adjoining cart shed and store is a house likely built in the late 17th century or early 18th century, with later additions and alterations. The building is constructed from pebble-dashed rubble and features graduated slate roofs, with the cart shed having a lower roof. There are rendered end chimneys, and both the house and store share the same roof. The structure is two storeys high with four bays overall, while the cart shed is a single tall storey with three bays.
The house has a central 20th-century door with a sash window to the right, which is located under a continuous hoodmould. There is a casement window to the left and three sash windows above, all featuring glazing bars set in stone surrounds. The store has a small fixed window to the right, and the cart shed has a segment-headed wagon door to the left.
