Description
Todhole Farmhouse is a house that possibly dates back to 1796, as indicated by a date on a re-used keystone in the barn, which features the initials J & F D, possibly referring to the Dickinson family. The building has incised stucco and a graduated slate roof, with rendered chimneys. It is two storeys high and originally designed symmetrically with three bays. The central entrance features a plank door flanked by Yorkshire sash windows, with two paired sashes above. On the right side, an additional bay with a sash window on each floor has been added, and a former dairy with a plank door and a sash window above projects at a right angle on the left. Inside, the farmhouse retains original beams and plank doors, along with a corniced, bracketed fireplace located on the ground floor to the right.
