Description
Number 7 Front Corkickle is a building dated 1874, situated in a terrace of earlier 19th century houses. It is more ornate than its neighbors but remains a good example of its type. The building is constructed of stucco and has three storeys plus a basement. It features a cornice supported by iron brackets and iron cresting on the gables. The central Composite doorway is flanked by three-quarter columns and accessed by five steps, with a depressed arched window above it. There are two storeyed bay windows on either side, each with arched lights, and the façade includes Composite colonnets and interlaced iron-work friezes. The top floor has three sash windows. Numbers 1 to 12 (consecutive) and numbers 14 to 19 (consecutive) form a group with this building.
