Description

This farmhouse, located north of Midtown Farmhouse, dates back to 1686, as indicated by the inscription above the entrance. It features painted roughcast walls set on projecting plinth stones and is topped with a graduated greenslate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. A 20th-century door is positioned in the cross-passage and is framed by a 17th-century painted stone architrave beneath a dated lintel. The windows are sash style and are surrounded by 19th-century painted stone. The adjoining barn is not considered of interest.
