It features painted roughcast walls set on projecting plinth stones and is topped with a graduated greenslate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. A 20th-century door is positioned in the cross-passage and is framed by a 17th-century painted stone architrave beneath a dated lintel. The windows are sash style and are surrounded by 19th-century painted stone. The adjoining barn is not considered of interest.
