Description

4 to 8 Garden Villas are a row of late 18th century Georgian Gothic villas located in Hensingham. The buildings are designed symmetrically and stand two stories tall. Each villa features a pointed arched doorway with a rectangular label and panelled spandrels. There is one window on the ground floor and two windows above, all adorned with labels. The end villas, numbers 4 and 8, have gables at the front, which include fretted bargeboards and an additional window in the gables. This group of villas, along with numbers 35 to 48 and 81 to 99 on Main Street, forms a cohesive architectural ensemble.
