Description

No. 88 on Main Street in Hensingham is a free-standing house built in 1814, situated among rows of terraced houses. The gable end of the building faces the street and it has three storeys. The exterior features scored stucco and 12-paned sash windows, with two on the middle storey and a Tudor-arched window on the top storey. The entrance includes a Tudor-arched doorway. This house is part of a group that includes Nos. 35 to 48 and Nos. 81 to 99, as well as Nos. 4 to 8 Garden Villas.
