Description
The pigeon house in the garden of Bradden House is an 18th-century structure built from coursed squared ironstone with a plain tile roof. It has a square, one-unit plan. There is a plank door at the rear with a timber lintel, and a loft door to the right above it. Facing the stable block, there is a 2-light casement window with a timber lintel. The sides facing the garden feature chamfered ventilation slits. The building has quoins and a central square timber glover topped with a weathervane. Inside, the pigeon house was subdivided horizontally in the mid-19th century when it became a store, but it still retains a complete set of nestings.
