Description

The dovecote, located approximately 20 metres behind The Manor House, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of lias stone, cob, and brick, topped with a plain tiled roof and features a circular plan. The entrance is made of planks, with an additional entrance on the first floor. The base is made of coursed lias, with rendered cob above and a brick upper section. The roof is conical in shape. There is no evidence of nesting boxes, and the upper section may have been converted into a hayloft.
