Description
East Farndon Hall is a country house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a slate roof with a shallow U-shaped plan. The main front has a seven-window range, with the end bays projecting forward. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, which decrease in size at the second floor level. To the left of the center, there is a half-glazed door that has a 20th-century moulded wood doorcase. The roof is hipped and has brick stacks at the ridge. The garden front consists of a one-window range with a 19th-century canted bay at ground level. There are also 19th-century extensions at the rear. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted that the ground floor reception area features late 18th-century and early 19th-century marble fireplaces.
