Description

Home Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse with alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed lias stone with a slate roof. Originally planned as a 2-unit building, it is two storeys high with an attic. The front has a 3-window arrangement. The first floor windows are a mix of styles; one is a 2-light stone mullion window, while the others are 19th-century casements. A central 19th-century four-panelled door is covered by a hood. There are large brick stacks on the ridge. The left gable has a 19th-century French door with large diamond panes, and a sash window above with glazing bars. The right gable features a 2-light stone mullion window that has been blocked. Evidence suggests the roof was heightened in the 19th century. A rear wing has a 3-light stone mullion window.
