Description

The Compass Public House is an 18th-century public house located on Green Street in Milton Malsor. It is constructed of coursed rubble that has been painted, topped with a slate roof and featuring brick end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two stories high with a two-window range. The ground floor has three-light casement windows, while the first floor features quartered and horned sash windows, all with wooden lintels. There is a blocked cellar window to the left of the center and stone-coped gables with kneelers. At the rear left, there is a 19th-century two-story wing made of red brick that includes an entrance. Inside, the building has chamfered spine beams.
