Description

This chest tomb, located approximately 6 meters north of the northeast angle of the Church of St. Mary, dates from the mid-18th century. It is made of ironstone and features pilastered corners, with pilasters that separate worn inscriptions in cartouches on the long sides and at the west end, commemorating members of the Cockerill family. The east end displays a scrolled shield with a winged skull above it.
