Description

The cross, located approximately 40 metres south west of St. Mary's Church in Great Brington, is likely from the 16th century. It is constructed of limestone and lias with ashlar dressings. The cross features an octagonal shape and stands on a square base with three steps. The plain octagonal shaft has a damaged capital. It is also scheduled as an Ancient Monument.
