Description

Carey House is a late 18th-century house located on Main Street, Great Brington. It is a two-unit dwelling constructed of squared coursed lias stone with a thatched roof. The front facade has a symmetrical three-window arrangement of casement windows with leaded lights, all set beneath wooden lintels. A central four-panelled door, partially glazed and similarly topped with a wooden lintel, provides access. Brick stacks are positioned at each end of the building. The interior remains uninspected.
