Description
Green Meadow is a rectory, now a house, built around 1822 by E. Blore. The building is constructed of squared coursed lias and features a stone slate roof. It has an L-shaped plan and is two storeys high with an attic. The south elevation has a three-window range that includes two large stone mullioned bay windows, one of which is splayed. The east end of this range is also splayed. There is a small glazed garden door with a moulded stone lintel. The gable parapets and kneelers are made of ashlar, and there are tall brick stacks at the ridge and ends. The rear and side elevations are similar in style. At the intersection of the wings, there is an octagonal stair turret topped with a gabled parapet and a stone tiled spirelet. The interior has not been inspected.
