Description
This is a headstone dating from the late 17th century, located approximately 17 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St. Michael in Aynho. It is made of limestone and features an inscription plaque that is framed by deeply cut scrolls and swags of fruit. The headstone commemorates "William the son of Samuel B...[?]ding and Sara his wife," who died in 1697.
