Description
The Parish House is a house dating from the 17th century, which was remodelled in the early 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with ironstone quoins and has an artificial stone slate roof with stone stacks. The building has two storeys, an attic, and cellars, featuring three bays.
There are two blocked 2-light stone mullioned cellar windows to the left and right of the entrance. The central doorway has a rectangular fanlight and a 20th-century door, with a 20th-century wooden porch that is accessed by a flight of seven steps, which has a 19th-century iron balustrade. On either side of the entrance, there are sash windows with side lights that have plate glass glazing, while similar windows with original glazing bars are located to the left and right on the first floor. The centre features plain sash windows. The gable ends are coped and supported by kneelers. The interior has not been inspected.
