Description
This is a row of four headstones located approximately 10 meters west of the west door of the Church of St Peter and St Paul. They date from the late 17th century to early 18th century and are made of carved ironstone. One headstone from the late 17th century features a scroll arched top and a segmental arched moulded panel with good lettering. Another headstone, dated 1711, includes a winged cherub's head, scrollwork, festoons, and an oval cartouche. There is also a headstone dated 1685 with a shaped top featuring a face, and a moulded rectangular panel with good lettering. Additionally, there is an early 18th-century headstone that displays a cherub's head and drapery swag.
