Description
Rags Row is a pair of cottages built in the mid-18th century. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble with squared quoins and feature a stone slate roof along with brick and stone stacks. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of six bays, with the two central bays projecting beneath a pediment. The doorways located in the second bay from the left and the second bay from the right have stone lintels with keystones and modern part-glazed doors. All windows are fitted with stone lintels that also have keystones, and they feature modern metal casements. There is a blind round window in the pediment, and the gable ends are coped with kneelers. The interior has not been inspected. These cottages are associated with Edgcote House.
