Description
The service wing of Edgcote House, now converted into flats, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of ironstone ashlar with a tiled roof and stone stacks. The building is two storeys high and features seven bays. A verandah supported by six iron Doric columns on stone plinths and with a tiled roof extends across the front. There are doorways in the left bay, the right bay, and the third bay from the left, each with plain stone frames. The left doorway contains a six-panel door, while the doorway in the third bay from the left has been fitted with a 20th-century sash window. The window in the second bay from the left has been converted into a doorway. The second and third bays from the right have 20th-century wood casement windows. All first-floor windows have plain stone frames and feature 20th-century two-light wood casements. The interior has not been inspected.
