Description
Grafton Lodge is a house dating from the mid-18th century, constructed of squared coursed lias with a slate roof. It has an L-shaped plan and stands three storeys tall, featuring a two-window range. The central entrance includes a four-panelled door set beneath a stone lintel. The ground and first floors have two-light casement windows with plain stone mullions, cross transoms, and surrounds, while the second floor has plain two-light casements. The building is accented by rusticated quoins, ashlar gable parapets, and kneelers. The roof is hipped at the intersection of the L-plan, with brick stacks located at the ridge and ends. There are remains of a sundial on the right side, and single-light windows with stone surrounds are present on the right gable, with the left facade being similar.
