Description

House at 54 Upper Harlestone, dating from the mid-18th century, is built of regularly coursed lias stone and features a thatched roof. It originally had a single-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. The front has a two-window range of casements with leaded lights and wooden lintels. The entrance on the left has a plank door with a wooden lintel. The house has ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at both ends. To the left, there is a late 18th-century barn that has a three-light leaded casement under a wooden lintel, along with a 20th-century brick extension.
