Description

The Vicarage is a building said to date from 1741, with a stone panel in the back wall carved with the initials CT and the date 1771, which may refer to an addition or alterations. It is constructed of sandstone and features a slated roof with verges and kneelers on the side elevation gables. The building has two storeys, attics, and a basement. There are two box dormers and three sash windows, along with a pair of modified Venetian windows on the ground floor. Access is provided by steps leading up to an arched doorway, which has an archivolt with a keystone and is surrounded by pilasters and a cornice on consoles.
