Description

The building is a late 17th-century stable block, originally part of Dallington Hall. Constructed of ashlar ironstone, it has two storeys and a single-window front, overlooking the entrance court of the hall. The front elevation features a pediment containing a sundial in its tympanum. Below the pediment is a doorway with an architrave surround, a pulvinated frieze, and a cornice. Flanking the doorway are two arched, semi-circular niches. The building forms a group with the main hall and a former barn.
