Description

The Church of St Mary is a Grade II* listed building located on Dallington Road in Dallington. It features a 12th-century doorway and a 13th-century west tower, along with a north aisle. The north chapel was added in 1679, the south aisle in 1877, and the chancel in 1883. The church contains a 15th-century font and notable monuments, including those for Raynsford from 1664 and 1678, and Jekyll from 1752 and 1766. The east window features stained glass by Kempe, created in 1892. The pulpit dates from the first half of the 17th century. The Church of St Mary, the Wheatsheaf Inn, and Primrose Cottage are part of a group of buildings.
