Description

This is a dovecote built in the mid-18th century, constructed from ironstone ashlar and topped with a tile roof. It has a square plan and features an undercroft. Each side of the dovecote is adorned with a pediment that includes a round window with leaded panes, while the lower sections have blank windows. The entrance is located on the north side and consists of a wooden lintel above a plank door. The roof is hipped and includes a wooden cupola. Inside, the undercroft contains a central stone pier and a groined brick vault, along with brick nesting boxes.
