Description
This is a pair of headstones located approximately 28 meters southwest of the south aisle of the Church of St Peter and St Paul. They date from the late 17th century and are made of carved limestone. One headstone is dated 1696 and features an open segmental pediment with a central carving, along with a raised panel surrounded by volute and scrollwork, decorated with bunches of grapes. The lettering on this headstone is well-executed. The other headstone also dates from the late 17th century and includes a winged cherub's head, a scroll arched top, and a large oval cartouche.
