Description

Baptist Chapel, dated 1786, is constructed of regularly coursed lias stone with a slate roof. This single-unit chapel features a vestibule. The south elevation has a two-storey structure with a three-window arrangement on the first floor. The central window on the ground floor is flanked by a pair of entrances, each with 8-panelled double doors beneath wooden lintels. The ground-floor window has three-light casement windows with moulded wooden mullions and a transom, all under wooden lintels. The chapel has a hipped roof with a central copper vent. The west elevation includes one tall arch-headed window, and there are two similar windows on the south elevation.
