Description

Abington Cottages, consisting of Nos 1 to 4, were built in 1846 by E.F. Law in a Tudor style. The cottages are constructed from ashlar dressed squared rubble and feature a Welsh slated roof. The symmetrical main block includes a two-storey projecting central gable that has a four-light leaded casement window above a porch with three pointed four-centred arches supported by buttresses. The one-storey and attic sides have four gabled half dormers and four leaded casement windows with dripmoulds. There are also two gabled porches. On the left side, there is a projecting gabled one-storey wing that contains a leaded casement window.
