Description

The water tower in Abington Park, built in 1678, is a Grade II listed structure. It is constructed from squared and coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins. The building features a plinth, mid-height and eaves bands, and a parapet, topped with a conical slate roof. Later additions include buttresses at two corners. Below the main structure, there is a dovecote situated under the roof, along with an internal stair turret.
