Description

Christ Church, built in 1904 by Matthew Holding, is a tall building designed in the 14th century style. It is constructed of squared rubble and ashlar with a slated roof. The chancel features a gallery on the north side and a two-bay chapel on the south. There is a north-east vestry and a porch. The nave, which has a fine timber roof, consists of three bays. The transepts each have two arches. The west end remains unfinished, with plans for a large tower that was never completed.
