Description

The Daventry District Council Offices, formerly the Rectory, is a building from the early to mid 19th century. It features a stucco exterior and a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate, supported by paired brackets at the eaves cornice. The building is two to three storeys high, with the left side having three storeys and one window, while the centre and right sections are two storeys with two windows. The windows are sashes with glazing bars set within reveals. A Doric porch with a blocking course adds to its architectural detail. Additionally, there is a tall round-arched window on the north side elevation.
