Description

The King's Sutton War Memorial is a granite obelisk located in The Square, near the Church of St Peter and St Paul, which is a Grade I listed building, as well as The Courthouse, a Grade II* listed building, and several other Grade II listed structures in the area. The memorial features a square base topped with a tapering plinth and an obelisk, which is square in shape.

Lead lettering inscriptions are present around the base and plinth. The main dedicatory inscription reads: "TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN THE GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THE HEROIC MEN WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR KING AND COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WARS 1914 – 1918 1939 – 1945 REST IN PEACE."
